We take pride in following the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines for assessment of autism and ADHD. All of our autism assessments are carried out by a minimum of two experienced clinicians to ensure reliability. We use 'gold standard' recommended assessment tools and work as a team to reach our conclusions.
Our assessment process

Step 1: Online initial consultation.

Step 2: Two diagnostic interviews and completion of questionnaires. The interviews can be online or at our clinic in Southampton (Hampshire).

Step 3: Observational assessment (called the ADOS) either online or at one of our clinics in Southampton (Hampshire), Wallingford (Oxfordshire) or Wokingham (Berkshire).

Step 4: Computer attention assessment completed at home.
​
Step 5 Follow up appointment to discuss the outcome of the assessment.

After assessment
​
You will receive a detailed report that includes your strengths, challenges and our recommendations. If a diagnosis is given, we will also provide a summary report to share with employers and education settings. If a diagnosis of ADHD is provided, we can link you in with our pharmacist prescriber and we also offer post diagnostic support.
